If you are a foodie and a fan of aaloo tikkis then say yes!! Because yes the place where you can soothe your taste buds is right at your disposals. Sector 29, Pramod Chaat Bhandar is a place you all can go and give a shot for the love of tikkis. There is nothing better than a hot plate of tikkis freshly served.
I am sure a lot of us doesn’t know from where these tikkis have originated and what food items are actually used to make such delightful tikkis. Let me brief you about the same. Aloo tikki is a North Indian and Pakistani snack made of boiled potatoes, onions and various spices. “Aloo” means potato, and the word “tikki” means a small cutlet or croquette. It is found in almost every chaat shop or stall in Delhi as well as in other parts of India. It is served hot along with saunth, tamarind and coriander-mint sauce, and sometimes yogurt or chick peas.
Surely the kind of taste we Indians are born with in terms of food , we never settle down for the regulars. We keep on exploring and challenging ourselves to take a bite of any appealing dish coming at our tables.Talking of the attractions.
Agra Chaat Bhandar is another good place you can eat tikkis from and have your palates be delighted.
The best thing about these tikki walas are that in spite of having located in a very crowded location they still have managed to make quite a space in everyone’s heart. I personally have visited this area and have tasted tikkis from both the chaat bhandars , trust me i could walk a mile daily to savour these tikkis. The aroma in itself is enticing. As a foodie and a little educated in terms of cooking I find it tempting to see my food getting cooked in front of me.
Though a lot of questions might strike your mind about the hygiene, safety and location. On that matter I would simply advise always follow your instinct. My experience have made me learn that the safest place to eat is a place which never gets out of customers.
So just go and visit these shops ,order a plate of tikki or two and let the flavor get settled in your taste and taste in your experience and your experience to another amazing experience.
